Our Story
Like many good stories, ours begins in a barn in 1988 when Ben King began building wood swing sets with his sons. The business has grown rapidly in the last few years and is now introducing a line of commercial playground equipment.
Now, Elmer King has taken the reins from his father and continues to expand the company while keeping it family-owned. King Swings quickly became a big name in the residential swing set industry, and now we are taking our passion for clarity, fun, and quality playgrounds to the commercial world.
Quality of Products and Durability
Being parents ourselves, King Swings knows the toll children can take on objects. That is why we only use the best material to build our commercial playgrounds. Trex decking, Georgia yellow pine, stainless steel parts, and much more make our playgrounds withstand children, storms, and, most importantly, time.
Since we use the best, you know your commercial playground can handle adults. Go ahead, swing, climb, and slide; the playground is strong enough for you to play alongside your children.
Highest Standards & Safety
Our commercial playgrounds were designed by certified playground safety inspectors and built to ASTM standards.
We care about your children’s safety and it shows in our craftsmanship.
Customer Service
We get it; commercial playgrounds are big purchases. This is why we stand behind our work with a hefty warranty. Each vinyl set has a 6-year warranty on all parts and our workmanship. A lifetime warranty covers the lumber inside the vinyl against rot, decay, and insect damage. The vinyl itself has a 20-year warranty against discoloration and fading.

Manufacturing & Installation
Manufacturing
When we say our swing sets are handcrafted, we mean it. Each swing set is built by hand right here in Strasburg, PA. Our Amish craftsmen hail from all over Lancaster and the surrounding cities. Moses, Chris, and John, our manufacturing managers, work alongside their teams to ensure the highest quality and safety.
Installation
Purchasing directly from King Swings means you will get our in-house crews to deliver and install your set. Allen, our installation manager and scheduler, works with the install crew leads to provide a smooth, easy installation. Most swing sets take 2 to 6 hours to assemble, and when the crew is finished, the playground is ready for children!
We deliver and install Nationwide , excluding Hawaii and Alaska.
