Poured-in-place rubber surfacing is the low-maintenance, high-cost, high-performance option.
The poured-in-place rubber surfacing is the gold standard for impact attenuation. With many different colors to choose from and being able to shape into fun designs, this playground surfacing has high perceived value.
It consists of a unitary bonded EPDM top layer that is poured in place. Under this surface is a layer of rubber mulch to absorb shock. Used in combination, this surfacing is beautiful, tough, and safe.
